How payment protection actually works.

Six mechanisms. Each one is checkable — read what it does, not what we say about it.

Does LinkersPro hold my payment for the publisher, like a third party would?
No — we sell the placement to you as principal, so your payment is our revenue the moment it arrives, not a sum held on someone else's behalf. We pay the publisher separately, as our own vendor, once the placement is verified. There is no third-party account and nothing is forwarded, split, or earmarked.
What does 'verified' actually check?
Five fields, automatically, after the publisher submits the placement URL: HTTP status, whether Google's URL Inspection API confirms it is indexed, whether the link attribute matches what was sold, whether the anchor text matches, and whether the final URL matches with no redirect. A link that fails even one of these means the publisher is not paid.
What happens if the placement is removed or changed after I've paid?
We check it daily while payment is held, then weekly for the length of the listing's guarantee window (up to 365 days). If it is removed, switched to nofollow, redirected, or deindexed, the publisher gets a 72-hour window to fix it. If they don't, the remedy is account credit — never a clawback of a payout already made.
How are publishers vetted before they can list?
Every listing requires an automated check across ownership, traffic, link-profile, and content signals, and a first-time publisher's first listing always gets a human review on top — never an automatic approval.
What happens if a buyer and a publisher disagree about a placement?
The dispute is resolved against the same automated evidence — HTTP status, indexation, anchor match, final URL — captured at verification and again on every monitoring check, not against either party's claim.
Does every placement carry the same link attribute?
No. A listing is sold as dofollow, sponsored, or nofollow, and that is the attribute the crawler checks for on that specific placement. rel="sponsored" is the default we recommend, following Google's own guidance on paid links, but the listing's own terms are what is actually verified.

How a placement is verified

A real sequence, in the order it happens.

  1. 1

Publisher submits the live placement URL

Nothing is marked delivered before this step. The URL must be on the listed domain.

  2. 2

The crawler requests it and records the HTTP status

A real fetch from our own crawler, with redirects followed and re-checked at every hop.

  3. 3

Google's URL Inspection API is checked for indexation

Indexed means Google said so, never a scraped result page.

  4. 4

The link attribute is compared against what was sold

Dofollow, sponsored or nofollow — whichever the listing sold is what is checked.

  5. 5

Anchor text and final URL are compared against the brief

Byte-for-byte on the anchor; no redirect on the final URL.

  6. 6

Only if all five pass does the payable open

The publisher is paid on their tier's schedule after this point, and the link is monitored through the guarantee window.

The same five fields appear on every order as a verification record, and in how it works.
